'People are Messy'

23rd March 2016

On Wednesday 23rd March Year 9 and 10 students at Manor Croft were privileged to watch a professional drama production performed by the 'Theatre of Debate Company'.  The performance, entitled 'People are Messy' dealt with the sensitive issues of loss, bereavement and dealing with terminal illness.  The performance was excellent and Y9 and Y10 students also took part in a live interactive debate following the performance using hand held voting devices.

Representatives from Leeds and Manchester university were also present and had this to say about our students:

"We were extremely impressed by your students.  They were courteous, cooperative, well-disciplined and showed respect to others.  They  paid close attention to the play and the debate, responding warmly to the characters and thoughtfully to the discussion."

Well done to all involved!
