Sports Relief - Over 700 pounds raised!

21st March 2014

Manor Croft Academy students have raised over 700 hundred pounds by wearing sportswear for the day.

Many students donated one pound to Sport Relief to be rid of their uniform for the day. Other students took their own initiative by conducting their own sponsored silences. The PE department have been working with all students in lessons to ensure they have had the opportunity to ‘run a mile’ for the Sports Relief campaign.

Well done to all that took part. Special thanks go to Mr Verity, Mr Dawson, Mr White, Miss Bigland, Mr Audsley and Mr Cox for allowing buckets of water to be poured over them in order to raise a couple of extra pounds.
