Transition Ambassador Training

2nd December 2013

Twenty five of our Year 8 students participated in a two day training course that was devised to develop their leadership skills. The rigorous course was facilitated by an external provider specialising in training young people to be confident Student Ambassadors.

Manor Croft Academy is building strong links with Primary Feeder Schools and these student Ambassadors provide a vital link to ensure that Year 6 students arrive at Manor Croft Academy fully prepared for Secondary School.

The students were put through their paces for the two days. They completed problem solving sessions, effective team work classes and reflected on their own leadership styles through role play.

The students are now fully prepared to assist with the Thursday Transition Evenings that the school is embedding over the next few weeks.

Congratulations to all those students who took part.
