‘Yorkshire Skills’ Career Event for Year

17th October 2014

On Thursday 16th October all Year 11 students had the opportunity to visit Elland Road for the ‘Yorkshire Skill’s’ annual careers fair.

Over 140 students participated in the trip. This enabled our learners the opportunity to talk with key recruitment agencies and post 16 establishment’s about their next career choices. Local Colleges, Sixth Forms and even Universities were there to help students understand the required qualifications and process they must undertake if they wish to follow their chosen career.

Alternatively, for students who do not want to follow academic routes, there were apprenticeship providers ranging from the make-up industry through to the Armed Forces.

Many thanks for all those staff that facilitated this trip. There will also be a Manor Croft Careers fair for all parents and students regardless of year group in December.
