On the 10th December we held our very own election to promote and celebrate democracy and to gain a better understanding of the policies each political party has proposed in their manifestos.
Some of our wonderful student leaders produced their own presentations and put forth their key points to all students in Years 7, 8 and 9. Students then selected their party of choice and put their voting slips in our ballot boxes.
The votes were counted and verified and the results gave Labour the win, followed by the Liberal Democrat’s, Conservatives and then the Green Party. We’ll now just have to wait and see the real outcome of the General Election!
